"Fire and Water" two day
safari based in Ermington
This
safari
offers the non-angler the opportunity to work with Richard
Bent (Fellow
of the Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths) using
the traditional skills of fire, hammer and hand to make a sculpture,
snail paperweight or for the adventurous a fishing fly made from steel.
Richard is based in
Modbury a few miles from Ermington.
This safari offers the angler the opportunity to fish on two Dartmoor
rivers
for wild brown trout and sea trout.
Each day you fish on a different river located within easy reach of
the luxurious Plantation
House Hotel
in Ermington. In the evenings you can relax over dinner or
try
your luck
for a sea trout on the nearby River Yealm.
If required your guide will transport you to the river each day. |
